At Mignon & kie, we believe that coffee should be an experience - one that engages all five of your senses. From the moment you walk into our café and eatery, you'll be greeted by the aroma of fresh, high-quality coffee beans and delicious South African influenced food. Our welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff will make you feel right at home. After moving to Canada from South Africa in 2019 it was a dream for the du Plessis family to introduce the warm South African hospitality and the aromatic food to the people of Canada and we got the opportunity to do so in February of 2023 in the downtown of Courtenay. The Comox valley is what we call home now, but we will always pull inspiration from our South African roots. With it's vibrant and flavorful culture, after all, it is not called the Rainbow nation for nothing. We're a family-owned business, and we treat all our customers like family too.
